Improvisation Games & Open Mics
Improvisation games loosen the energy and immerse the room in laughter. The games build a creative, fun atmosphere that brings out the best of the Open Mic readers and audience. Playing games opens your senses, so that you can lean in and listen to how your words get along, dance, tell the story.
Poems, novel excerpts, lyrics, Facebook posts, scenes from a script (you can bring actors), jokes on a napkin - whatever you can read in 7 minutes or less. The audience shares what brought them into the work and what kept them out. Sign up is on a first come ~ first served basis.
These nights, held on a quarterly basis, are free and open to the public. No improvisation experience necessary, playful nature encouraged.
